Shyjumon is included in the 33-member squad for the India under-22   Asian Cup Football Preparatory camp.
Shyjumon’s maiden entry to the football was at the age of 12 when he was in 7th standard. His captaincy in 2006 took RICE-MMS’ foot ball team to win under-17 qualifying match at the Tamilnadu state level tournament.
In the year 2009 he represented Kerala state team and secured 3rd place in the National level tournament. These stepping stones took him to the Indian football team which was his dream.
