Mathakondapalli Model School (MMS) is a CBSE and NIOS-affiliated, day-cum-residential coeducational school in Hosur, Tamil Nadu — built on the belief that how a child is taught matters as much as what they're taught.
MMS was established in 1999 by child rights activists, on land owned by the Rural Institute for Community Education (RICE) society. The school sits on 76 acres and operates as a day-cum-residential coeducational institution, serving students from the local community as well as residential students from further afield.
From the outset, the founding philosophy has centred on quality, child-centric education that respects and upholds the rights of every child — recognising that each student learns differently, and building the school's approach around that, rather than around a single fixed method.

Alongside academics, the campus houses a counselling centre, a community health centre, a research and training facility, and a full-time football academy — reflecting an approach that looks beyond the classroom.
