Classes 3 to 5

About the Preparatory Stage

The Preparatory Stage covers Classes 3, 4 and 5. Children begin to learn subjects such as languages, mathematics, environmental studies and the arts in a more organised way, with textbooks, projects and plenty of practical work.

This is also the stage where reading, writing and number skills become strong enough to support independent learning, and where children begin to learn how to work in groups, present their ideas and think things through.

Classes 3 to 5 3 years (age 8 to 11) Led by the Vice Principal (5+3)
