IITM School Connect: October 2026 Batch

IIT Madras School Connect's introductory courses are designed to provide Class IX, X, XI and XII students with hands-on career exploration experiences, and help them understand what group to take or which course to study.

We encourage families to register their child for these career orientation programmes. This is an exclusive opportunity for students of partnered schools only, and MMS is a partnered school.

School Connect Program

Every batch of students is enrolled, tracked, and certified through the same portal, so results carry straight through from the exam to the certificate. MMS students are enrolled in the August 2026 batch (started August 3, 2026), which opened registration for 16 certification programs.

Beyond the Student Programme

IIT Madras also supports faculty, through NPTEL

Alongside the CODE School Connect programme for students, IIT Madras offers faculty development and training courses through NPTEL, the National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning. This gives MMS teachers a path to continuous learning and certification from the same institution.

Aryan Raj

A former MMS student, Aryan Raj is now pursuing a UGC-approved dual degree: a full time, on campus B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering at Shiv Nadar University, Chennai, alongside a BS in Aeronautics and Space Technology through IIT Madras's online, non campus BS programme.

The combination is possible under UGC's guidelines permitting students to pursue two academic programmes simultaneously, one regular and one online or distance mode, which is how IIT Madras structures its non campus BS degrees. [Aryan's photo and testimonial to be added by MMS.]
