A divine space on campus where behavioural transformation, relaxation and resilience take root, for children, teachers and staff alike.
The Meditation Hall helps children, teachers and staff overcome troubling thoughts and feelings. It is a quiet place to let go, relax and heal, and to come back to the day with a clearer mind and a stronger heart.
Here, meditation is not a one-time event. It is a practice that builds calm, resilience and a positive way of being, and it shapes how our children think, speak and behave.

Meditation is a regular practice at MMS and a part of our assembly. Each department takes its turn in the hall, and the children lead the session themselves: they create and share their own divine and spiritual thoughts, and spread positivity among everyone present. The practice builds discipline, and it builds the habit of looking inward.

When the board exams are close, a calm and confident mind matters most. Special meditation sessions are held for our board-going students, to steady their minds and prepare them from within. During the session, their hall tickets and pens are placed in the circle around the lamp, and the Secretary wishes the students well and hands the hall tickets and pens over to them.

At the farewell of our Class 10 and Class 12 students, we hold a value-based meditation to boost their self-confidence. Standing with lamps in hand, the students connect to divine power and gain the confidence to face their board exams. Lighting the lamp is like lighting their lives. They are blessed by the speakers and dignitaries present, and leave with the school’s good wishes.
